Structures of UTP  CAT 5 LAN cable:

a. Conductor: twisted bare copper or single flexible copper.
b. LAN cable of UTP can choose insulated material (PE fire retardant, low smoke without chlorine polyolefin, polyethylene and polypropylene with fluorine.
c. LAN cable of UTP can choose jacket material (PVC, low smoke without halogen PE fire retardant, polymer with fluorine).
d. LAN cable of UTP can choose tearing line.
e. Aluminum foil shield, adding leakage line.
f. Can choose pair of wire.

Add: Cat 5 cable does not enable longer cable distances for Ethernet networks: cables are still limited to a maximum of 100 m (328 ft) in length (normal practice is to limit fixed ("horizontal") cables to 90 m to allow for up to 5m of patch cable at each end, this comes to a total of the previous mentioned 100m maximum).
